  • @Robijn#145748 I used to use bunq for budgeting too a few years ago. Then I discovered ynab and ever since then I am in love with it. Especially with the expansion toolkit for ynab ynab is by far the best way to budget I have ever encountered. You can’t compare this to budgeting with bunq at all.

FYI you can try out ynab for free for 4 months. There is a special link you need to sign up to (the standard link only gives you 34 days). Just google For stacksocial ynab.

        • @Christian-Piano#139384 By switching to travel card you probably lost your founders green card too. I was in a similar situation some time ago when switching from premium to joint and back to premium again. It was a disaster. I fear you might be in the same situation now and your 99 € are lost. You should reach out to the support and get this fixed asap otherwise I don’t see you getting your money back.

          • Just want to give my two cents: why does it have to be an email? bunq could just sent a push notifications that some changes were made and when opening the app the next time you will get a pop up which tells you exactly what changed. Every bunq user uses his bunqs app probably on a daily basis. Why go the extra route with an email.

            • Just a very stupid question from my end: why not just go to a dealer and buy physical gold? You surely know the saying „If you don’t hold it you don’t own it.“

                • Will Travel Card only members be able to use Apple Pay with the travel card too? I seem to remember that bunq said somewhere Apple Pay is a premium feature only yet I managed to add my travel card to the wallet. I downgraded from premium to travel card after that while joint membership disaster.

                  • @DylanScott#123887 Well that’s another story ... considering that bunq doesn’t even manage to get the „new“ travel card ready for Apple Pay you can imagine how much effort and time it would take to implant a feature we’re you can have different card designs working with Apple Pay.

                    • @DylanScott#123885 This is not about bunq it’s about Apple. As long as Apple refuses to add such a feature there is nothing bunq or any other bank can do.

                      • @DylanScott#123883 Nope.

                        • The travel card is still not supported by Apple Pay is it?

                          • @Robert-Silver-Turtle-4265395482#113897 Well I have not the NFL but NBA pass. Paying with PayPal works just fine. Travelcard was declined probably because of the bin problems. But this should be fixed with the new card. The debit cards should work fine though.

                            • @Gaston#113888 Im not saying bunq should have thought about this. But it would be wise to take actions now and think about it now. If problems come up you have to deal with them. Giving more options doesn’t mean to give in.

                              • @Jos-Golden-Unicorn#113882 👍🙃

                                • @Jos-Golden-Unicorn#113880 Maybe I got you wrong but that is more or less my point of view. Like I said if using the card may result in a bad outcome for me I won’t use the card. Basically what you are saying too, right? 😅
