Dat klinkt goed ja!
Currently, the payment request page has the following title: “Your friend is requesting money through bunq.me”.
Although I’m getting used to it somewhat, it still makes me cringe a bit. Especially when I use payment requests to sell off used items online and more so when I use it for business purposes. The recipients in those cases probably don’t consider me their friend and it might even arouse suspicion.
I would prefer to have my (business) name used in the title instead of “Your friend”. I’d suggest making it an option, but that would probably be regarded as overly complex.
Onderzoek naar en voorlichting over Alzheimer is met de vergrijzing misschien wel belangrijker dan ooit.
Glad to see so many issues ironed out. Might install the update today or tomorrow to see how I like or dislike the new design.
@Sander-Silver-Lion#159566 Ja, ze zijn nog vrij.
Still have 2 slots left for premium personal users. Send me €0.01 via https://bunq.me/hanspack with your bunq email address and transfer €5 at the start of each month if you’re accepted in the pack.
Hi, I’ve split up my pack in 2 so that more people can benefit. This means I’ve got space for 4 including one business! If you’d like to join, send me 1 cent through https://bunq.me/hanspack with your (bunq) email address or phone number. If you get added, I ask that you pay €5 (or €6 for a business) on the first of each month.
Congratulations!
I don't feel that OP is actually seeking to alter a bank statement, but rather influence the data that gets sent along with a wire transfer. Potential use case: buying dog food on Marktplaats and preferring not to send your full name, but just your first name or even a nickname. Don't think that's possible or allowed though, but it's a much more innocent request than trying to alter your own bank statements :)
I've been using bunq for all my banking needs (both personal and business) for about a year now. My mortgage is supplied by Rabobank; I haven't checked whether I need to keep an active account with them for any discounts, I just asked them to withdraw the monthly payments from my bunq account and closed my accounts with them.
A feature like this was available in the past, but has since been removed in order to simplify the app. It set a (optionally periodically resetting) budget for that person. I believe bunqDesktop still allows you to do this.
@Tim#29342 Yeah, so in John’s example you’d have two guarantees of up to €100.000, which isn’t the same as saying you’re guaranteed up to €200.000. Can’t simply add those two amounts together.
For 2 accounts it’s 2x €100.000, which in this rare case doesn’t necessarily equal €200.000.
Okay, please wake me up when this API turns actually useful for devving and distributing mobile apps that can run on the user's device without any server side components.
That should already be possible through Connect, although only via the API. You'd be able to grant someone the right to create draft payments. From the docs: "If set to true, the invited user will be able to make draft payments from the shared account.".
Who cares if the owner of the public wireless network can see that you sent X bytes to and received Y bytes from bunq? People worry too much :) There will never come a day where you'll go: [facepalm] I shouldn't have bunqed without additional protection on that shady public network after a few beers too many. Really.
Boooo! Stop stripping the Connect feature please. Hide the advanced settings somewhere if needed, but don’t take our toys away.
