Why on earth have you removed this option? This was a Terrible idea. I DO NOT want people who work for me seeing how much money I have in my business accounts. I want to keep that information private. This is a really bad idea. The way it was before was not complicated.
I repeat: I do not want other people to be able to view my balances. Please change it back ASAP.

We indeed changed the way a connect account works, when setting one up you will always give full access.
In your situation, a fix could be to for instance open a seperate bank account in your business' bunq account to give a certain person or department access to a specific amount of funds đ

The problem I have is that one of my employees needs to view a specific account in order to check for payments from customers for a specific websites orders. They then update the orders to processing.
Another employee keeps an eye on a different account which we use for wholesale orders and also for making payments for for various types of bills. This employee is able to check when invoices have been paid and then updates them and files them away into the relevant folder.
In both cases I do not want either employee to be able to see how much money is in the accounts or for either of them to have the ability to make any payments.
Youâve taken away the control I had over what people could see and do in my accounts.
I am not sure what the possible connect types were in the past, but I was looking for another type of limited connect.
I would like to have read only access to my daughter her saving account. I donât need to be able to use it, but I would like to be able to see if she is using it or not. Is there a way to set that up with the current connect functionality?

JasperAceI think for personal premium accounts it doesnât matter at all so i get it. But for businesses where people need to do the administration of a specific account without being able to make transfers itâs not a nice move. In my opinion you guys should change it back or make an extra option to fix this problem. In my opinion it was always a really good reason to choose for bunq business

Hmm, the Android app this still works as before...
I use the connect feature a lot (sharing with my wife and vv).... I don't use the 'read only' feature, but I can see the use for this. Personally I think it is a bad decision to remove this options. But bunq probably saw that little few people used this feature. I get that bunq is trying to make the app as simple and clean as possible, but I'm a user that loves total flexibility to set parameters the way it fits me best. In my opinion bunq has to find a way to balance between a clean app and (fully) customize settings. A thing that comes to mind is a "advanced user" feature that will reveal more settings for only those users who need/want them.
Well said - an âadvanced settingsâ feature for those who need more flexibility and customisation should be added. But besides that - taking away the view only access was not a good idea. This should be something we can control regardless of whether there are other advanced settings or not.

bunq removes features for instance when analytics show that a particular feature it hardly being used and/or users complain that a feature is too difficult. Removing unused features keep the app as clean as possible, also a goal of bunq.
Unfortunately this unavoidably means a small group of users can loose (their favorite) features :(

Well Helmer, you got a fair point here. Can't quite understand why bunq is cutting down connect options. So, I'm curious about the reason behind this. I think the connect feature is powerful and unique, but not when bunq keeps op downsizing it.
Besides that, there will be more app to come that will use the the connect feature, but making the user now less in control of that Connect.
HelmerProdigyCurrently the bunq Desktop App offers the 'Connect Read-Only' functionality. But it would be even better if the bunq app itself got an 'Expert features' option in the settings, which makes all the advanced features appear in the app.
And expert mode is a option that is suggested before. I'm all into such feature. It keeps the app squeaky clean for the normal user, but still offers the more advanced user some more tools. I'm going to dream about this feature, let you know what I came up with :)
