  • I had 78% progress on next tree. Now I have only 0%

    • @TheEmptyUniverse#164150 Please don't take this as an offence but this idea is not reasonable. Let's consider the fact they we are already planting trees...We don't need anymore more than that. Besides this: Bunq could add Netflix and Spotify rebates and airport lounge access.... Travel insurance could be included too. But if these are to be included with metal card, I'm assuming they would increase the monthly subscription again. No cash back is needed because they are already planting trees instead of giving cashback, remember? Lol. But a few more perks would be appreciated considering it's a metal card. Metal cards typically have rewards / benefits. Just saying....We don't need anything else than what I'm suggesting. Especially if we are to be paying a higher subscription.

      • @Yann-Magenta-Shark#164384 I was thinking to post something similar to this. They could add Netflix and Spotify rebates and airport lounge access.... Travel insurance could be included too. • @Lui#163754 Oh I see. I study online, I'm studying Financial Trading and Investment. I see what you mean. I don't think you use Supergreen. Stay with Premium. I only use Supergreen because I can fully use Metal Card. Planting trees is good, not knocking the idea down. However, I don't think it's my basic prerogative. Premium is way better. I doubt most people really need Supergreen subscription. I'm just saying....

            • @Lui#163752 Actually, you can cancel or downgrade the Supergreen after 12 months. If you downgrade back to premium, the metal card is yours at no extra cost. I was saying the same thing as you at first, but now I use only the maestro card and the metal card. And since Coronavirus, Dekamarkt where I frequently shop takes it. I love the card itself and It is included already so why not use it. The way I see it, I might as well take the metal card since I'm using Supergreen. I'm already paying for it anyway.

              • @Lui#156206 If you are going to get Supergreen, you might as well get the Green Card. The cost for the card is included in the 16.99 euro a month.

                • Bunq says they plant a tree in our name. But I'm sure they won't actually name the forest after us. I'm not against planting trees but I'm starting to think the whole purpose of the green card has been defeated since everyone without the green card can also plant trees. Bunq should have made the green card with both maestro and MasterCard 2 in one card. So people wouldn't be asking to sallow all cards to plant trees. And also, the green card should have been painted in green color, preferably light green colour. Being white makes it seem as if it copied the apple card. I'm just saying....right now it's more a white card. Not green card.

                  • What's the point of all this really?

                    • @Sander#160399 The only way to cover it is by implementing my original idea or the idea that Jakob-Y proposed. Otherwise it's an unsecured credit/overdraft. I made a post a few days ago. You may check it out. Jakob-Y actually made a counter suggestion in response to that post. My original idea could work. His idea could perhaps work too...

                      • @Dyouth27#160393 That's quite unfortunate but ok. Everything takes time... So let's see....

                        • Hold on, Bunq still hasn't had those issues resolved? Well, okay then. Lol....

                          • I noticed that only the Travel card has the possibility to be linked to air miles account in the Netherlands. It sure would be nice to get the Green Card added too! Also, currently with the Travel Card, air miles can only be earned when travelling abroad. I think that's very unreasonable. We should be earning these miles by spending locally here in the Netherlands. Not just when abroad.
Please allow Dutch customers to link the green card to miles account and earn miles when spending that same €5 locally. That would add another bonus to the Green Card.

                            • @Stephane-Azure-Kiwi#160273 I have a idea with title "Make secured credit card an option." On that thread you can see my response as to how Bunq could do it, as well as Jakob-Y suggestion to be able to get overdraft by setting a negative balance ourselves.

                              • @Marc-Maroon-Unicorn#160106 Jakob-Y suggested a better idea. Sure, I would rather my original idea to be implemented. However, his idea could also help. Almost same concept. Bunq should allow us to set a 0 value negative balance. That way, we are providing the credit ourselves.

                                • @Stephane-Azure-Kiwi#160178 How exactly would that work? If you didn't mean a loan or a gift, what do you mean by help if you can? Now I'm not sure your messages is clear at all. Sadly... 😞😞

                                  • @Jakob-Y#160004 Well, actually I did learn a few things from you and no, you don't sound like a negative nanny. Culture difference? Maybe. However, I don't think you were negative. Too bad Coronavirus seems to be after all of us and so I'm home reading and writing bunq ideas. Lol 😂😂😂

                                    • @Jakob-Y#159965 If you actually read the lady's original post, you would have realised she was really asking for an overdraft of 150€ twice per year to loyal bunqers. I don't think she meant a loan per se. She probably meant a gift for loyal customers. In my suggestion to implement secured credit cards a few days ago, that idea would in no way violate bunqs's original principles. Why? Because in reality we would still be technically using our own funds. Last night you came up with even a way better solution. You suggested a way to set negative number balance which we could use as an overdraft. We would be providing the credit ourselves, so I don't see how this would be against the banks principles. As a matter of fact, bunq technically already implemented a secured credit card. The Travel Card and Green card. I came across some from Latvia. I think I mentioned this to you before. In Latvia, they use the same exact mechanism in their secured cards that bunq now implemented. Same thing. The card is tied to a bank account and the word "credit" is printed on the card along with card bin setup to credit mechanism. We are all bunqers and it's always good share ideas, be it good or not so good. 😉👀👍
