bunq So, let me get this straight. In your terms you say you comply with any applicable laws in the user's country. I'm a Portuguese user and law here says banks cannot charge under any circumstance for ATM withdrawals... bunq has always charged.
Now, the law also says any company (and it sure includes banks) cannot change the provided service without getting consent from the user, unless that change is objectively to the user. Going from free to 7.99€ is certainly not objectively beneficial.
I'm fact a telecom a couple years ago pulled this kind of stunt. Get a free data pack for 2 months and ask to cancel if you dont want to be charged after that. Let's just say they haven't repeated the stunt since and me and a lot of other people got a nice settlement out of it.
I've made it a hobby to make shady business practises meet the law and I look forward to the moment bunq tries to charge me 7.99 in 3 months to make bunq understand they're not above the law
