Tom Zojuist heb ik de mail ontvangen maar ik blijf nog wel met een vraag zitten. Met een joint account heb ik rekeningen met mijn partner waar wij beide gelijkwaardig eigenaar van zijn. Is dat in het nieuwe abonnement ook zo en houdt dit dezelfde juridische status?

Victor Joint rekeningen hebben in principe niets te maken met het oude joint membership. Deze en/of rekeningen blijven gewoon en/of rekeningen.

bunq That may make a difference in the end but not a perceived difference and no difference at all for all the customers that used their GreenCard to plant as many trees as possible. It feels like a huge downgrade in every way. And as you may have noticed. The majority of your customers hate it.

bunq So, let me get this straight. In your terms you say you comply with any applicable laws in the user's country. I'm a Portuguese user and law here says banks cannot charge under any circumstance for ATM withdrawals... bunq has always charged.

Now, the law also says any company (and it sure includes banks) cannot change the provided service without getting consent from the user, unless that change is objectively to the user. Going from free to 7.99€ is certainly not objectively beneficial.

I'm fact a telecom a couple years ago pulled this kind of stunt. Get a free data pack for 2 months and ask to cancel if you dont want to be charged after that. Let's just say they haven't repeated the stunt since and me and a lot of other people got a nice settlement out of it.

I've made it a hobby to make shady business practises meet the law and I look forward to the moment bunq tries to charge me 7.99 in 3 months to make bunq understand they're not above the law

frage: ich habe zuerst die travel card bestellt, bin dann aber rasch auf die green card umgestiegen, die travelcard ist danach aus der app verschwunden.
1. jetzt ist die travelcard auf einmal wieder in der app aktivierbar, ich brauche aber keine 2 karten, mir reicht die greencard, was tun ?
2. meine greencard ist noch unterwegs, ich brauche supergreen nicht, mir reicht die greencard, soll ich jetzt (oder später vor ablauf) in den einstellungen einfach auf greencard wechseln (ohne nochmals dafür bezahlen zu müssen)

So, the great news is that SuperGreen has replaced the Green Card subscription! Because you were a Green Card member before you get SuperGreen for no extra cost until March 2021 🎉. In your case, that means you'll pay €0/month until then.

What you do with your Travel Card is up to you! You could use it for online purchases maybe, or keep it spare just in case you ever need it 😊.

For 2 persons with a Joint account a 60% increase in monthly costs. Without being informed in advance. Without extra features. And communicating as if it is an improvement. Ridiculous!

Wesley As part of this big step to a greater bunq experience, we have discontinued the Joint subscription. In our research we found that our users were confusing between joint subscription and joint memberships. We have therefore simplified everything for you.
Although we removed joint subscription your have upgraded to 2x premium that means your are getting more cards, more interest, more accounts, more everything!
Alternatively, you can also join a pack and pay exactly the same as before!

bunq We don’t use more cards, don’t care about more interest, have no need for more accounts, and we don’t trust people enough to join a pack. The whole reason my partner and I used joint was because we don’t have a need for all those extra things.

Das hinterlässt einen bitteren Beigeschmack. Die Mehrkosten sind nicht das Problem. Das Problem ist, dass einfach so etwas geändert wird weil angeblich die Mehrheit der Nutzer es so wollte. Was kommt dann als nächstes? Ihr legt hier wirklich eine unangenehme Geschäftspraktik an den Tag und spielt mit dem Vertrauen eurer Kunden.

Note: if you order the Metal Card, you get it free as long as you stay SuperGreen for a year. 🙌

If you downgrade before that, you'll be charged the remaining cost of the card.

This is very bad. Only nice topics are allowed in the normal forum. There is a manipulation to get more money out of the green cause.

"More than 80% of bunqers indicated they wanted new subscriptions with the possibility to plant trees with all cards!" so... they wanted NEW, but nobody ask for changing current or removing. Maybe the question was already prepared to get the answer they wanted ;-). Also, who made that survey, 80%? can you give numbers, which organization did such a survey? is it a legit one? For me, this is how a bank make a manipulation under a fair cause, to get more money. Very bad. End of the Story. Definitely, I will close my account soon.

Please change the sponsor of bunq to "Bank of the Profitable Green" or "Bank of profitable improvising"

Eduardo Hi Eduardo, in the survey it was explained that if we were changing the way we plant trees, we would have to remove subscription and simplify the subscription scheme to allow it. The answers were highly positive that is why we went for it, your feedback is of utmost importance for us and we listen to you for every decision we make 😊

If you decide you want to leave SuperGreen before then, you will just pay the difference between €129 and the subscription fees you've paid since you ordered the Metal Card. ℹ️

Toch begrijp ik de overgang van Joint naar premium niet goed. Joint heb ik gedaan zodat ik en mijn vrouw op hetzelfde account kunnen werken. Dit is dus met premium niet mogelijk en ik moet dus 2 premium accounts aanschaffen? Daarnaast krijg ik 3 maanden compensatie, woo-hoo...., en daarna ben ik dus veel meer kwijt. Daarbij vraag ik me af of dit zomaar eenzijdig kan....

Robin Deze vraag heb ik dus ook. De rest kan ik mij in vinden. Maar als mijn vriendin welke voorheen onder mijn joint viel nu ook een premium moet gaan betalen ben ik bang dat ik naar een andere bank ga. Wel gigantisch waardeloos dat ik 2 maanden terug een greencard heb gekocht
