Johannes 🇦🇺 I was surprised also but there are many reviews on belsimpel.nl for example of people who have bought it. I can't imagine it's a huge number of people but, there are still enough that Bunq should think about HMS / Huawei.

Alexander "there are still enough that Bunq should think about HMS / Huawei." I personally don't really believe so, bunq is also using some G services like G Maps for the Travel Assistant. It wouldn't be just a 5 minutes job to get it to the Huawei AppGallery

Hi y'all, actually here in Croatia many people ARE buying Huawei phones, even new ones.
Most apps are adjusted for App Gallery just fine.
Sure, location services depending on Google aren't working, but all other features do.
I don't see a problem?

I Phone Cloned the app to my new phone but can't get updates for it.

Please bring Bunq to Huawei's AppGallery. 🙏

You'll also do yourself a favor by building the app in a Google-independet way, if you are serious about "bank of the free" getting access to long-tail customers. All the users of the Fairphone + users of Google-free OSs like /e/ ( https://e.foundation ) or LineageOS will thank you.

Any new update on this? It is a bit sad that the self-proclaimed bank of the free do not give the choice to those who want to opt out of the GAFAM tech giants.

Bunq est disponible sur Aurora Store qui la copie parfaite du Play Store et bien plus complet que l'AppGallery. Toujours à jour. Je l'utilise sur mon P40
