LvH Yes, automatically charging the correct account based on certain criteria would be even better. But I would settle for moving a payment afterwards to the correct account manually (and I don't mean forward, but really move and delete).
Having multiple PIN codes seems the easiest to implement however, although with some security considerations.

David Moving transactions between accounts would be awesome. For legal reasons, I don't think it would be possible to delete from one and add to the other. But even hiding the original transaction and displaying the inter-account transfer as an original transfer, would be great. I pay from a wrong account more than once every week. And I'm not talking about accidentally paying with a 'groceries' account instead of 'monthly'. I think budgeting with multiple IBAN's is the wrong tool for that (off topic).

Casper Je kan die transactie ook niet half verbergen in de app. Want dan klopt dat toch ook niet? Je hebt immers niet met een betaalkaart betaald maar van de ene naar de andere bankrekening overgemaakt. En dan is het gek dat je bij rekening X wel geld hebt betaald maar het op rekening Y niet hebt ontvangen omdat het is verborgen samen met de pintransactie die je van de verkeerde bankrekening heb betaald.

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 I get what you are saying. I mean this, when I pay something from account A when I should have payed it from account B, currently you correct this by transferring the amount amongst the accounts.
That shows as follows:
1. The initial payment transaction in account A
2. The correction payment from B to A, in account A
3. The correction payment from B to A, in account B
Let alone when using the request feature. You request to yourself and also accept it. Not user friendly.

What I propose is a ‘relay’ feature that, in the front (but for example, still visible in the account-events screens), hides number 1 and 2 and alters the appearance of 3 so it looks as if the initial payment was from that account (maybe with an added note/symbol that it was relayed).

Proactively however, bunq should consider adding swiping gestures on the accounts screen. That way it is a lot harder to pay from the wrong account.

Casper Ik begrijp je wel, maar dat is juist wat je volgens mij dus niet kan maken als bank. Hoe kan je legaal aan je klanten een transactie laten zien alsof het een pinbetaling is met een kaart terwijl dat in werkelijkheid een overschrijving van de ene bankrekening naar de andere bankrekening is?

En zeker als je dan in het bankrekeningoverzicht iets anders laat zien dan in het algemene overzicht dan maak je het mijns inziens alleen maar nodeloos ingewikkeld en ga je juist meer vragen oproepen. Je hebt dan dus verschillende overzichten in je eigen app die niet met elkaar kloppen.

Wat als een klant gaat bellen naar een service afdeling van een extern bedrijf die de betaling vanaf rekening B helemaal niet kan vinden (omdat hij was betaald vanaf rekening A!) en dat soort ongein.

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 If the back-end remains unaffected, bunq could easily display three transactions as one. I am also strongly in favor of a difference between the ‘Account detail screens’ and the ‘Events screen’.

The ‘Events’ screen should be more of a general notifications feed. Card activations, connect requests, payment requests, etc. Differend notifications, should have altered appearances.

The ‘Account-detail’ screens could be an overview of mutations, not unlike what it is now. Compare this to an interactive bank statement feed.

Casper Ik vind persoonlijk het totaal overzicht ook alles behalve overzichtelijk. Maar als bunq dat gaat aanpassen moeten ze nog veel meer zaken aanpassen. Zo is dat de enige plek waar geplande betalingen of geaccepteerde incasso's terug te vinden zijn. Ook is dit nu de enige plek waar je kan zoeken in al je betaalrekeningen (voor die keer dat je niet meer weet van welke betaalrekening is betaald).

Ik begrijp niet precies waarom jij denkt dat bunq een transactie kan laten zien op een manier die niet is zoals het in de praktijk is gegaan. Bijvoorbeeld voor de ZeroFX maken ze ook altijd extra transacties in plaats van de oorspronkelijke transactie aan te passen. Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat er boekhoudregels zijn die toestaan dat je een klant andere informatie voorschotelt dan de werkelijke transacties die hebben plaatsgevonden. Als dat zou mogen dan zouden ze toch ook de transacties daadwerkelijk kunnen verwijderen en je gaf zelf al aan dat dat juridisch niet mogelijk is.

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 Combining three payments in one 'event entity' is not showing anything non-factual. It's a more condensed way of displaying relevant information. That's why I think info about relaying should be added. It shouldn't cover anything up. It should clarify instead of clutter.

Casper Wat je zegt is toch niet zo? Als jij 1 transactie toont van betaalrekening A naar betaalrekening X dan is dat iets heel anders dan een transactie van betaalrekening A naar betaalrekening B en een andere transactie van betaalrekening B naar betaalrekening X.

De transactie die je laat zien van A naar X heeft nooit plaatsgevonden en de gegevens daarvan kloppen dan per definitie niet met de werkelijkheid.

I'm suggesting instead of three transaction (1x A -> 'merchant' or X, 2x B -> A (once on account A as received, once on account B as sent)), in the 'Events' screen (where the three mutations are most visible and cluttering), have these three mutations shown as a one 'Event' that doesn't necessarily have to look like any other transaction, but at least display in a more organised way. It shouldn't just display a mutation from B -> X, but it could show an event stating "Payed from B -> X (relayed from A)" and obviously "Tap for more info", even "Display transactions separately" to ungroup.

There also doesn't necessarily have to be a 'Relay'-button. If you press 'Request' on the original transaction on account A and choose another account from the same user (for example B), bunq could simplify the flow (no 'Accept' in account B) and automatically group the transactions. If mutations 1, 2 and 3 don't happen in tandem, it could at least group 2 and 3 (or any other inter-user-account-mutations for that matter).

Casper Het zijn maar 2 transacties, maar inderdaad 3 events in het overzicht als de ene transactie 2 van je eigen rekeningen gebruikt. Jij wil een soort "groep" transactie aanmaken waarbij je nog wel de onderliggende transacties/events kan zien? Dat is inderdaad iets anders.

Dat zou ik ook al geweldig vinden voor een normale overboeking van betaalrekening A naar B waar je nu ook 2 events van hebt (en 2 notificaties) terwijl 1 regel voor die transactie in het overzicht genoeg is.
