Hey bunqers ๐,
When verifying your bunq Business account, you'll be required to provide the Articles of Associations, translated to Dutch as Statuten. In the Netherlands the Statuten are contained within the Deed of Incorporation document when creating BV and Sichtings companies.
What do the Articles of Association contain?
- The people involved in the company;
- Each person's role within the company;
- The governance rules for the company.
When do I need to formally update the Statuten?
While the Deed of Incorporation remains unchanged, any amendments to the companyโs structure of internal governance rules should be formally updated in the Statuten through a civil notary.
