Wouldn't it be a significant improvement if the transaction activity view could reflect the status of split payments? Currently, after splitting a transaction, if you navigate back to the transaction's details and access the activity icon in the top right, it surprisingly doesn't show the split payment event. This oversight seems like a missed opportunity for enhanced user experience.
Imagine this scenario: You're on the page for transaction "x". You decide to split the payment and share the link for your payment request. Instead of having to check the status of this split payment in a different location, you simply return to the original payment you are splitting, click on the activity icon (top right), and instantly see whether someone has reimbursed you. While the received transactions should still be visible in the general overview, adding the status of the payment request within the original transaction's event overview would offer a more streamlined and intuitive experience.
User story:
After enjoying dinner with three friends, I initiated a split payment for the meal, which I had paid for in full. The following day, eager to see who had settled their share, I navigated back to the original dinner transaction in my payment app. By selecting the activity option located on the upper right corner of the transaction details, I could easily access all related activities for this dining experience. To my observation, I discovered that 2 out of the 3 (4) participants had completed their payments.
