In the bunq app settings, there's an option for users to tweak their "Together" and public usernames. Here's something to note: the "Together" username you set doesn't match up with your username on together.bunq.com. On the flip side, your public username matches up and even shows up on the site. Not just that, but this public name pops up in the app too, right above where your sub-account details are, and it's what you see in Moneybird integrations instead of your real name. I'm looking to make my public name more personal, or at least have my real name appear in the app when I log in, above sub-accounts, and in Moneybird integrations. But here's the catch: changing my public name also ends up changing my username on together.bunq.com, and I'm not cool with that privacy-wise.
What I'm suggesting is pretty straightforward: let's have the "Together" username we pick in the bunq app directly link to our together.bunq.com forum username, instead of having the public name do all the heavy lifting.
Also, when I log into the bunq app, it shows the public name. Wouldn't it make more sense to display my real name there?
