• Using local currency

1.
I opened a local currency account on Thai bhat.
Can I pay in a shop with my bunq card connect to this thb account? Will there be any costs or conversions?

  1. I tried to transfer thb 2000 to a local Thai bank account of a friend. I was warned that I had to pay 10 euro. Why there are costs when the money was transferred to Thb before?
    3.
I opened a Swiss bank account by mistake and I want to close it. I don't know where to find that account to close it. It just pops up when i.e. I try to transfer money to and from the Thb account.
I want to close it, I never used it, will never use it and there is no money on it

Thank for your help
Bert

@Hubertus#288745 If you pay in the same currency as the Local Currency account, there are no conversion fees (because there's no conversion). However, if you want to add money to the Local Currency account from Euros, there's a 0,5% fee.

Transfers within the SEPA region are free. However, outside the SEPA region they are not. Transfers are then processed as SWIFT transactions, which aren't free. Check the bunq pricing sheet for more info.
