I just joined but noticed that someone I knew from 30+ yrs ago stored my cellphone number through Linkedin. Now I see his recommended locations in the activities tab.
i think it needs to be possible to mute of people recommendations if you dont want to see them. Now it shows recommendations if another person stored your number in their contacts of their mobile phone but as said as a recipient you should be able to disable recommendations of individuals
