At the moment the app does not use the standard IBAN format consequently.
The dialogue to input an IBAN splits it up into its regional structure, e.g. for German IBANs into routing code (BLZ) and account number (DE 07 12341234 1234123412). This might be intended as usability feature, but to me, it is the opposite. At least in Germany, with only very few exceptions, IBANs are printed in the proper international standardized format (groups of 4 digits starting from the left, DE07 1234 1234 1234 1234 12). The way the input works in the app makes it harder to properly compare the entered IBAN with the one on the invoice. The 4-digit-seperated format is recommended by ISO 13616-1, the ISO standard governing IBANs.
On several other locations (recent accounts in “Choose Recipient” screen or the “Contact Info” screen reachable through transactions to view the IBAN) the IBAN isn’t formatted at all. IMHO the proper format should be used everywhere.
Please adhere to the international standards, it makes stuff much easier.
