Hi,
I am just starting to use bunq, but from the descriptions I am not sure how refilling my subaccounts work.
So I am splitting this post into two parts. First part is the description how I understood how refilling currently seems to work by looking at the descriptions from the app. Second part is a description how I would like it to work. Maybe I am overlooking some way how it can work that way.
1. How refilling works from looking at the descriptions
What I could see there are currently two ways to refill a subaccount.
Using refill notifications
Here I can set a lower limit on a subaccount that specifies when I want to receive a push notification via my app.
I don't understand the "Refill to" option. Is this an option that appears when I click on the push notification in Android and that I just need to confirm? If this is true, where is this amount coming from? Is this choosable in the refill notification form? Which options are there?
Using Easy Budgeting
Here I see that I can choose to transfer a fixed amount of money from another subaccount to my budgeting account. But this is not really a refilling option as my subaccount will always grow or shrink over time, depending on the real amount of money spent in a specific month.
2. What I am looking for
So what I am looking for is a way to refill my subaccounts automatically from some other (main) subaccount. If a specific lower threshold is reached there should be an automatic transfer to match a specific balance again. I don't always want to get a notification and have to react with a manual confirmation. This is what I like about Paypal. I can pay what I want and it rebalances automatically from some other bank account.
