On an iPhone you can add bunq’s balance widgets on your Home Screen which is accessible and viewable without to unlock the iPhone by swiping to the right (left is starting the camera).
Please note that we are NOT talking about the bunq Home Screen widgets, but about the native iOS widgets.
On that widget we can see the balance of one or more accounts. So it’s always visible for anyone who got the iPhone in their hands.
If we set the option ‘Auto sign out after’ on one week e.g. only then we are able to see the balance on the iOS widget. The balance should not be visible when the iPhone is in a locked state.
Our suggestion is: Bunq should respect the iPhone lock by default for iOS widgets
