  • [Suggestion] Easy Budgeting wizard

I found Easy Budgeting not as easy to set up as the name implies, especially for people who have not yet acquainted themselves with sub-accounts... It requires reading an article on the Help Page in order to then perform various actions in several entirely different areas of the app -- creating a sub-account, changing the Easy Budgeting settings of that sub-account (different screen) and changing the settings for the associated card (different screen again).

I was wondering if a more wizard-like approach to setting up Easy Budgeting could work. A simple process that goes through the above steps one by one, perhaps even allowing you to create the sub-accounts with the Easy Budgeting settings that make sense right there.

Additionally, it would be nice if the basic details of a sub-account very clearly state that Easy Budgeting is enabled for it for the categories selected.

Thijs changed the title to [Suggestion] Easy Budgeting wizard.

        hi 👋,
my guess is that some changes will come soon to Easy Budgeting. So many things not working properly and quite some unexpected behaviors:

        • not clear where money are pulled if category is not linked to a sub account
        • expenses charged to a different category sub account than the category
        • overview not customizable (iOS)
        • limits can not be set per category
        • weird mix between back up sub account and missing primary sub account setting on the card.

        Cheers
        GG

@Gianguig#271303 Yep, I imagine the next update is going to have an improvement or two so I at least wanted to chime in with this suggestion based on my own experiences with it so far. :)
