  • Offset requests in spending overview

If I spend money on something, and people pay me back for that transaction, it's a bit annoying that my spending overview is now overly inflated. Maybe it would be nice to have requests attach to certain transactions and reduce your effective 'spend'?

Is there another way around this?

    @Jordan-Purple-Owl#256976 Hi Jordan!

    You mean like this? Here two people payed my request, it's shown as one transaction in the overview:

    That's how it's displayed in my bunq app on Android.

      HI 🙌,
      I agree with you, the amount you spent and the money you get back for the shared expense are not accounted in the overview/budget but only the total spent.
      This is probably a good suggestion for an enhancement. I am not sure how easy it is .. and given that bunq bought a new company few month back (Tricount) probably there are already in the works plans for integrating with it and make sharing expenses much better.
      Regards 🙏

        @thijsoost#256982 Not exactly, I mean, if you pay for a night out, and divide the costs with your friends… the budget and spending overviews show that you spent the whole amount, not considering how much you were reimbursed.

        You can never truly get an accurate picture of how much you’re spending if you can’t deduct expenses you’ve had reimbursed!

          @Jordan-Purple-Owl#257004 Ah, that's what you meant! That's indeed a bit annoying. That's one of the reasons I never use the automatic spending overview, but have specific sub-accounts for budgeting. This way, when you're paid back, it comes back at the same sub-account.
