Travel card and Easy Saving

So I have a bunq Travel Card that I paid for, which is still valid until next year, but I’m interested to open the new Easy Saving account. I’ve been told by support that if I want to use Easy Saving, then my card will immediately stop working. Is that actually how it was designed to work? I thought bunq might honor my investment AND welcome me on board their new product. Any experience with that?

Yep. The Easy Travel plan has been deprecated and changing to any other plan (including Easy Savings) makes it void. Of course if you change to a plan where you can keep using a card like Easy Bank, then your card would still be good, but in case of Easy Savings, this would indeed mean your current card cannot be used any longer. If you want to make use of it until the expiration date, you would need to stay on the Easy Travel plan until then.
