When sending a request to one’s own account they should automatically be accepted unless there are insufficient funds to do so. This could possibly also be an option in the settings and there should also be some way to control this setting on shared accounts.

Yes please please. I don't see, why I should not be able to auto accept my own request, when I can auto accept them from everybody else. Also it is soooo annoying, when organising spendings and moving them to the right account. It should be a 1 or 2 step process, but right now it's ca. 6 steps...

Indeed - An extremely small programming effort and sooooo much better for the customer.
Hard to believe that this still has not been changed, or that it was even there in the first place.
