I recently had to share an expense with friends from Switzerland, but we found out this is incredibly hard to do and we ended up trading cash. IBANs are relatively new in Switzerland and not commonly shared or used (most bills are paid with orange (ISR) and red payment slips and qr codes, or wired to a 10 digit bank account number), but there is an app called Twint for Swiss residents, which seems to be a mix between iDEAL and bunq.me. It’d be amazing if bunq actually supported Twint as payment method for bunq.me links so an expense is easily shared and paid.
