What is the use of the Add Money button

When you have all your money in Bunq accounts, why would I ever use the ‘Add Money’ button?

I used it once, to easily and instantly transfer all my money from my previous bank.

Right now, it is quite useless for me and taking up valuable space. A full button.

Could this be removed l, moved, or perhaps be combined with the Request button, which is also about getting money from an external source and storing it in your Bunq accounts?

The 'Add Money' button allows easy access to the top up option in the app, so you can swiftly add funds to your account. At this point the request button does something completely different - while topping up comes from your own account, the request is sent externally to someone else from whom you're requesting funds. 💶

Your feedback is very much appreciated, however this point the button will remain active on our side.

I understand the difference between the two buttons. Thanks for explaining.

My point is that for users with all their funds at bunq (your most committed users) the button ‘Add money’ has zero use because they don’t have funds at other banks.

For those users I suggest to move this button to a less important place.

But it’s probably difficult to know which users need the button and which ones don’t. For those who are new to Bunq or still have funds at other banks this button is very important so I see why it needs to be in a prominent place.

Would be nice if there was a way to accommodate both types of users but that probably is impossible.
