Don't use IDnow / offer alternatives

I am a Israeli national living in Germany.
My passport is an Israeli passport.

I was happy to see that you now offer German IBANs! Some companies (bvg, O2, rdf) will only accept German IBAN numbers.

But unfortunately you chose to use the non inclusive identity check provider IDnow.

ID now only see EU nationals as "valid"..
They do not support eAT cards (resident permit cards), they do not accept driver licenses, and they do not accept non EU passports

IDnow are a known issue that all German imagrants face every day.. I can't rent a car because of IDnow, I can't use electronic scooters because of IDnow and now I can't finish my German IBAN request with you because of IDnow..

This feature is effectively locked behind a "nationality wall"

To add insult to injury every user like me that cannot finish the identification process now has a persistent notification in our main Bunq account reminding us that I we not EU nationals

Please remove the notification from the main screen

Or even better, choose a more inclusive identification provider next time

And in the mean time, if you really do care about inclusiveness please offer the option for phisical identification at the post office

Matan driver licenses aren't really accepted anywhere else either, at least for banks. IDNow does support much more than just EU passports (Israel passports are supported by them) but the partner, bunq in this case, can decide what they actually have to accept.

IDNOW is the worst platform ever! They say they're supporting eID but at the end they want microphone and camera???
