  • More sophisticated Sorting options

It is not transparent what influences the categorization of payments into different categories.
When changing the category of a payment I can only select "Only this" and "All similar".
This should be extended to a more sophisticated menu to create certain rules.
I'm thinking of options like: "If card == Main and Payment in $GroceryStore then assign category: Groceries".
This should provide certain criteria like location or Name of shop or card etc. and then some actions like assign category, automatically request money, automatically split...
If I go out for lunch every week with colleagues or sth. and eat at the same place and always split by 3, I don't want to do it manually every time. And I don't want to control if the sandwich I bought in the morning at the same bakery every time gets sorted into Food and Drink (It is not at the moment sometimes™).
Also, it is not clear whether "All similar payments" affects past payments or just future payments.

@Bendodroid#220741 I totally agree. I have trouble auto categories as well. I cant see based on which rules bunq will change toe category of other payments as well..
at the moment it seems to only consider the iban and not the reference which is very very very bad if you pay multiple purposes to your partner.. for example incurance cost, rent, grocerys and so on..
A rule based system would be the best option..

@Marcel42#232053 Also it should be possible to choose the catwgory of the payment the moment i create a recurring payment..
