Any plans to offer extra services like loans, insurances, airport lounge access, crypto, etc...?
There are a few competitors working on this stuff and it would boost your ‘bank’ the next level... :)

I don't see any of the above being on the road map for now. I think bunq 🌈 is different with these kind of things. You could see them as a ‘payment bank’ at the moment and they do this really really well 👌. "Competitors" like Revolut and N26 are just regular banks with a new wrap 🎁 trying to take it all. All that with shady 🕶 investors, and nasty/unknown business models.. Also there can be some privacy policy concerns.
@Tim#33633 The fact that they are nasty doesn’t mean their ideas are bad. I would love to see extra services. bunq’s payment stuff is good now. It’s time for the step if you ask me. Staying at payment processing only wont be enough to survive in this world...

bunq always made perfectly clear that they don't believe in things like loans, it doesn't fit their vision. The same goes for any kind of insurances.
bunq focuses on one thing and that is giving users the best possible banking experience in the industry. And I got to say, they do I perfect job on that :) That is what sets them apart from the rest, without the need of offering extra services. Extra services will at this point in bunqs life also distract them from their goal.
But on the other hand 🖐️ my grandma 👵 always said "never say never" :).

@JohnDo#33635 ‘Banking’ in my vision is more than just payment processing. I don’t believe bunq can survive by doing payment processing only. Nowadays companies earn the ‘real’ money because of the extra services they offer. The fact that nasty companies offer loans or insurances, doesn’t mean bunq can’t offer fair and not-nasty forms of loans or phone/travel/health insurances, crypto and so on...
@Engin#33675 it's about numbers. bunq can perfectly survive only by playing a cool money keeper, as long as the user numbers keep climbing 🧗♂️.
Traditional banks need the extra services also to compensate the low prise of a membership... and to pay for all those overrated branch offices and board members :)...
bunq has a completely different revenue model so you can't compair them with the rest.
Of course bunq could also offert these extra services and do this is in a cool new bunq way of doing things.. but if they do I honestly don't think 🤔 it will see the light of day within the next 8 to 10 years....
