I'd like to suggest web access to the TravelCard.
I mean... If I lose my phone I also lose access to my account. I just cannot use my account on the laptop.

@Joshua-Aquamarine-Unicorn#152334 Any thougts on this?
@Adriankor#160944 nope. The bunq.app website only works for those that can scan QR codes. Travelcard members cannot do so. 🙂
I support this. And I think it would be in Bunq’s own interest. Here is why:
I totally understand that Bunq is limiting the feature set of the free product. But there are two features I think don’t have the Effekt they are hoping for: api access and web access.
Bunq as a technology driven bank should support open banking. And web access just gives users more confidence in situations where a phone is stolen.
Travel Card is free, but the only revenue stream for Bunq here is when people spend with the card. The more, the better. Not being able to use open banking and web access limits the use of the card for me drastically.
I believe there are a considerable number of users that just won’t upgrade to Premium, and due to the lack of those features also use the travel card less. So Bunq is not gaining anything here.
Again, I understand Bunq’s logic to limit the free product. But at least in my case, it doesn’t have the effect they are hoping for. I would even pay to unlock those features for a reasonable fee. I am not in the market for Premium, but I think the Travel Card is a clever product and I would use it more if it would be more convenient. I believe it would be a win/win.
@Frank-Maroon-Eagle#161218 Exactly. Precisely this.
I feel uncomfortable with anything more than a small amount on my card, since my phone is the only way to access the card. If both card and phone get stolen I cannot even block the card!
Why not just limit the API and web access?
I only want to know my balance and be able to block the card. And that anytime.
@Joshua-Aquamarine-Unicorn#163757 you can still reach out to support via email, just use the email address that is known to them and they should be able to help you out.
