At this time the purchase insurance applies only to purchases on the Metal Card. This is due to limitations on the insurer's side.

We are always looking to expand this, and if we are able to, we'll make sure everyone on Together is updated 😊

Niels Hi Neils, we are sorry to see you leave. We asked our users what they wanted, which was planting trees with all bunq cards and simplifying our subscriptions. That’s why we went down to offering just 5 easy-to-understand subscriptions that each user can use to plant trees, meaning bunq Free/More are no longer supported.

Tim This is a reason for termination for me. i don't use the other cards and now i only plant 1 tree for every 100€ spent.
The only reason to get the green card was the 2nd tree...

bunq can the green card be used after cancellation of the subscription (without the benefits?)

Jens Hi 😊With bunq SuperGreen, we made planting trees easy for everyone. Research has shown that a bunq SuperGreen user, by planting trees with all their bunq cards, will plant 50% more trees than a Premium user with a Green Card would have so it's a lot more trees to add to your growing forest 😊

I see you already got an answer as to why we made this change, which is that everyone overall will plant 50% more trees than before 🙌.

I can understand that if you were able to use your Green Card for everything before, your specific situation would be different.

To answer your question about the Metal Card, if you downgrade from SuperGreen it will be deactivated. You can always upgrade again later to reactivate it if you want 🙌.

I would recommend keeping SuperGreen until at least next year though, since as an existing Green Card member you get Premium SuperGreen at no extra cost until March 2021 😊

Tom Interesting choice of words, I saw that in the order screen as well. So let me get this straight. If you order that now for €9/month (€108 for a year), you can cancel the SuperGreen but you can keep the metal card and keep using it for the rest of its lifetime (so 3 more years) - rather than having to pay €99/year as was previously the case? So you can keep using it, just no planting trees - yes?

So €108/4 years instead of €396/4 years? Because that’s what it says right now and what you appear to be saying. Just checking as bunq lowering a price on anything is unique, so I’m guessing there must be a catch somewhere.

You can upgrade to Premium SuperGreen without ordering the included Metal Card. This would also give you the freedom to cancel it within 1 year without paying a fee to compensate the production costs of the Metal Card.

As a customer I don't understand the whole pricing model anymore. Discontinuing Bung Joint without any notice is very bad communication. I still didn't figure out what does this mean for my wife and me? Do we have still a shared account?
I have to agree to all critical voices here. You are combining different features to a new pricing model which is actually increasing costs, increasing the complexity of your whole model and I feel betrayed as a customer. I can tell you that I will terminate this account if you guys are not coming to with a proper solution and don't tell customers they get the upgrade for free for a certain period.

By the way I was just considering also creating a business account for my business but now I don't feel comfortable anymore.

Ich verstehe die ganze Aufregung nicht. Das Pack bleibt. Auch die Pack Mitglieder bleiben normale Premium Konten. Wer eine GreenCard hatte, wird hochgestuft und zahlt aber den Aufpreis nicht, bis der Einmalbetrag abgegolten ist.

Andreas Ludwig Verstehe ich genauso nicht. Wahrscheinlich sind das meiste ehemalige Joint-Mitgliedschafts-Kunden? Für alle anderen ändert sich wirklich fast gar nichts. Lediglich die Metall-Karte wird ab März 2021 dann insgesamt 9 Euro teurer im Jahr. Dafür gibt's aber auch ein paar zusätzliche Features wie die Zapier-Integration. Damit kann ich leben, und wer das nicht kann, kann sie ja einfach dann abbestellen. Das Pack ist noch genauso wie vorher.

Which is also a huge stretch as they never gave details.

The Premium SuperGreen membership includes 1 Metal Card and a mix of 3 cards between Maestro, Debit Mastercard and Travel Card (so 4 cards in total).
