Hi there,

I'm not able to find the source code for the bunq app.

Is the app open source and if not why..?

Open source leads to easier security contributions as people can look for problems in the code.

It would also enable the free software community to build new features or improve existing ones.

    I'm explicitly listing this as a bug since missing open source code is something that needs to be fixed.

      Also, why not be the bank of the free AND the free software community?

        @Joshua-Aquamarine-Unicorn#144516 For me it's not clear why a bank should share the source code of their application?
        bunq already has an open API, which can be used by the community to build own apps and features.

        I've removed the "bug" tag because this is not a bug but a wish.

          The official bunq app by no means needs to be open source. If anyone wants to build an open source app for bunq with all the features and whistles etc etc etc, the API is there :-)
