I find it annoying to open the Bunq app to approve/decline transactions. Would be nice if we could use haptic touch on iOS, like Microsoft authenticator does.

@Engin#128052 This brings some security issues, because this way you can accept direct debits or requests without having to unlock the bunq app with its own layer of security. That's why I don't really see this happening any time soon, but, of course, you're free to leave this as an idea here!
Yes but I think engin means with the phone unlocked. When I open bunq app I’m never required to sign in and that’s fine

Not exactly true. You may be only seldom required to log in because of your particular settings and usage behavior, but that doesn't mean that the bunq app doesn't do any checks on start-up. The lock of the phone is of course one barrier, but it's not something bunq has control over, so they couldn't rely on just that if they wanted to provide a safe banking experience (and they don't).
@Engin#128052 The haptic touch feature (formally known as 3D-touch) can show a preview or can create a shortcut to a certain point in an app.
It now shows the balance of the first two banking accounts (very useful) and a few less useful options. The first two are to start a new payment or a new request, which will bring you to the appropriate screens in the app. So you’re still stuck with opening the app as you’ll need to provide the information.
The most useless option is ‘pay with ApplePay’, as this can be achieved far more faster via the native shortcuts in iOS.
Options to jump to the cards screen, events screen or Together are missing, which would be more useful as you could choose to open the app directly on the screen of choice.
The option you suggest would still require opening the app as you don’t want to approve requests or direct debits without more information than just the message that there is a request. Pretty useless as far as I’m concerned.
Speaking of which... You’ll get a notification when a request is made or the app wants a direct debit approved. These should bring you to the appropriate screen in the app.
At this point, the bunq app does a horrible job when it comes to notifications. I often loose track of notifications in the app as they disappear once I open the app and have no way of recovering what I was supposed to act on.
Bunq should keep track of notifications in the app, so I can see what I was prompted for. When I have a notification for a direct debit that needs approval and a notification of Together, I can only attend one notification, as the other will disappear and can’t be retrieved.
Let bunq fix that first.
Microsoft authenticator sometimes triggers a face id check
@Engin#129282 That proves it is definitely possible to have an extra layer of security without opening the app...
Finally this feature is available!
