Patreon has let me know that it's going to change to comply with a new EU law.
There will be an extra layer of identification if you use a Debit or Credit Card with them.
This also applies to bunq.

I was wondering what kind of extra identification bunq was going to implement for this?
I'm talking about this article: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033037812

"I am a patron. How does it affect me?

If you add a new credit or debit card, or pledge to a new creator, you may see a pop-up from your bank that requests extra verification. This could be a username and password, a code sent to email or text, or any other authentication method supported by your bank.

Please note that if you have any questions or issues with one of these pop-ups, you would have to check with your bank as they are not controlled by Patreon."

Thank you for any information you can supply me.

@whaha#121816 As Philip mentioned above, this (3D secure/Mastercard SecureCode) is already implemented by bunq 👍🏻

@Bastiaan#121820 Ja, aber funktioniert es auch perfekt? Ich erinnere mich an Zeiten da wollten Kunden mit der Karte bezahlen und kamen dann mit der App nicht mehr zurück zum Shop oder andersrum? Grübel

@Heiko-Hartwig#121852 It works perfectly since a long time and works via Push..

Good to know. Now I know I won't have to worry. Thanks for the information.
