  • Embossed numbers for bunq credit cards

No, the mastercards can process transactions at offline terminals up to €250. There is no overdraft at your bunq account possible though, unless these transactions are processed when you have insufficient balance. In that case your bunq account goes negative, and needs to be topped up (immediately).

    - hors ligne ?

      Online: No
Offline: Yes, depending on certain factors.

Parfait. Je pense que expliqué comme ça cela va servir à bcp de monde.
        Merci 🙏

Yes, what you want is to come somewhere across half the world and argue with the car rental staff about the need for relief on the card, when the conditions clearly state that they require it. Last year I rent 4 times car and ALWAYS they want relief - embos card. Great Britain, Denmark, Jordan, Turkey, one of the rental companies was SIXT. But people in BUNQ know that nobody need it and want it...So I spend money for travel card which is usseles for travel, rename it on DONTTRAVEL Card.

                  It is a requirement...still.

@New-Silver-Cheetah-3294798281#273684 From what page is this?

@New-Silver-Cheetah-3294798281#273684 Considering nowadays many credit cards don't have embossed numbers anymore, especially in the US but also now in Europe, this topic has really run its course I think. Even my very "traditional" revolving VISA card from Barclays does not come with embossed numbers anymore and prints them normally on the back instead.
