  • Every moment in time: how much money did I have on bunq?

Doing finances I realized that there was no easy way for me to determine how much money I had on a given time.
I'm wondering if that could change.

I mean, we get to know how much money was in our bank accounts on the last and first day of the year, but what if it was possible to know how much money you had on, like, the 20th of november?
For me personally this would be useful, because I pay some stuff in mid-december for the coming year, so just knowing what my 'saldo' was in 31-12-2018 doesn't cut it. I want to know more.
Besides that, is it also possible to have a graph that shows you how much money you have over time? Is that possible?

Or do we have to rely on external apps to make this visible for us? I don't want to give my money data away to any external parties, so I would very much like it if bunq would develop something like this.

@whaha#81163 The problem I have with third party apps is that they somehow always want to share data for some obscure reason. Whilst most of the features they provide can be done as well without uploading my data.

For instance I would like a graph of my balance (saldo) over the last few months, days or years, which would could be generated by a simple calculation of the balance at day 1 and adding or deducting transactions. There is no need to share my data for that.

So I do hope developers will develop a stand alone app that will bring additional features to my bunq app, without the meed to transfer loads of my data to other servers.

Bunq should be the bank of the free and second those who care about their data.

When you export a statement, it does show the balance for the start date and end date that you selected. Not a nice easy-view graph like you suggest, but with a couple of steps it is possible to find your balance on any given date in the past using this method.

Bunq could also come some way to addressing your request by including a "balance after transaction" field in the details of every transaction.

I do like the graph of Revolut, but I don't use it that often, because I use YNAB to keep control over my money. Would be nice to have the same graph within bunq though.

@vampjon#81167 How do you export a statement?

@whaha#81258 In a bank account screen, go to Settings -> Export Statement

@vampjon#81261 Is it also possible to do this for ALL accounts at the same time?
Because that was what I was hinting at. If you have a lot of accounts it's a bit of a hassle to go over all your banking accounts.

@whaha#81273 Indeed, I don't think this is possible. Statements are always for one monetary account at a time.

@whaha#81163 In the thread โ€žDesign Suggestion #3โ€ (donโ€™t know how to copy a link within the app) you can find a mockup of what you want.

                    @Sander#81307 Yes, thx ๐Ÿ‘
